A windy and cloudy night ended with a electric storm at some distance from our mooring just out side Monte Carlo
Transfer to the principality was by ships tender.
We started our visit with a climb to the Aquarium and museum - affording great views back to the ship.
From there we boarded a road train for a tour of this very hilly city state. While only two and a half miles long and 95o yards deep the place fits in a vast amount.#
The museum and aquarium was amazing with well presented tanks and displays, also in the museum was a collection of Damien Hirst art - whilst not always to the writers taste some pieces were exquisite - such as the collection of shiny bugs and beetles or the giant butterfly mad from butterflys (we were not allow to photograph)
We ended our visit with a trip to the cathedral, the resting place of the Monaco Royal Family.
We hope theses pictures do some justice.
